Coach Talk: One Thing to Leave Behind

As a leader things are always changing. In this rapidly changing world there are some things that you used to do on another team, in another situation, in another time and place that you are still trying to hold on to. But the truth is that in the team you are on right now, in the culture you find yourself in, you really need to let go of the baggage. Sometimes the baggage you bring to a situation keeps you from achieving success. Today, look hard at what you are doing and see if there is one thing you need to stop doing--that if you were really honest with yourself, you know it is totally ineffective. Help your team focus today and realize what needs to change so that they can achieve the success they deserve.
